It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Smith Pittman of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on November 1, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Battle Forbes Pittman; her parents, Robert Lee and Sadie Lee Dunn Smith; and her sister Marjorie S. Moore. She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Pittman and Angie Hackett; her grandchildren, Hannah Hackett (Justin Pierce) and Hunter Hackett; her nephews, Eric Moore, Aubrey Moore and David Moore (Joanie); her great-nieces, Betsy Berndt (Martin) and Amy Boyette; and her great-nephew David Moore (Joy).
