She was predeceased by: her parents, James William "Bud" and Myriam Thorpe Taylor; her husband Ernest "Ray" Jones; her siblings, Lillie Mae Franks, Nina Wertz, Russell Lee Taylor and James Thomas Taylor; and her great grandchild Ava Marie Tyndall.
She is survived by: her sons, James Bennett "Bennie" Tedder (Beverly) of Lucama, Wayne Tedder of Kinston and Stuart "Butch" Tedder (Lisa) of Wilson; her granddaughters, Leigh Ann Freeman, Jamie Tyndal and Jeri Edwards; and her great grandchildren, Evelyn Freeman, Sydney Edwards, Ayden Tyndall, Bentley Tyndall, Christian Edwards and Charlie Freeman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Evansdale United Methodist Church, 4334 Evansdale Road, Wilson, North Carolina 27893.
