He is survived by: his children, Corey Williams of Wilson, NC, LaTonja Williams of Durham, NC and Sondra Artis; his grandchildren, Ashley Williams of Durham, NC and Brittany Williams; his great grandchildren, Taylor Lynch of Durham, NC and Major McMillian; his sisters, Clara Braswell of Elm City, NC, Jean Bonner, Louise Williams, Carolyn Bynum and Hyattsville, MD; his niece Linda H. Barnes; his sisters-in-law, Ruby Bullock Ham and Minnie Doris Suggs; and his close friend Delois Meekins of Fayetteville, NC.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
