John Worrell Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Worrell Sr. of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on July 24, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynwood Worrell and Ella Bissette Worrell; his siblings, Myrtle Carter, Mary Ella Etheridge, Vernon Worrell, Lynwood Worrell and Joe Worrell; and his pet Wrangler.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Davis Worrell; his children, Susan Weekley (Brandon) of Wilson and John T. Worrell, Jr. (Kari) of Winterville; his brother Ralph Worrell (Ruth) of Elm City; his grandchildren, Kersti Worrell (Brogan Langdale), Colton Worrell, John-Thomas Worrell, Hutch Worrell, Kylie Carnahan, Spencer Carnahan, Gavin Weekley and Trinity Weekley; and his great grandchildren, Emerson Langdale and Finley Langdale.
