She was predeceased by: her parents, Roney M. Williamson and Rose Deans Williamson; her sisters, Miriam Minshew, Hazel Bruton and Geraldine Lamm; her husband William "Tobe" Liles; and her daughter-in-law Debra Liles.
She is survived by: her children, Logan Liles, Steven Liles of Wilson and Janet Gowan (Jim) of Raleigh; and her grandchildren, Sarah Pittman (David) of Wilson and Matthew Liles (Beth) of Wilmington.
