He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierpon Bass and Margie Bass Jones; his stepfather Paul Jones; and his brothers, Wayne Bass and Dennis Bass.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Carl Bass, Jr. (Chrissy) of Columbia and Johari Chevonz Bradley-Bass (Ashley) of Roseland, Virginia; his grandchildren, Caelin Coles, Camille Bradshaw, Ava Bass, Natalie Bass and Leah Bass; his siblings, Nell Boyette (Charles), Dottie Hill (Raymond), Betty Holcomb (Ronald), Renee Barnes (Scott), Danny Bass and Ronnie Bass; his sister-in-law Pam Bass; and his aunts and uncles, Pauline Pope, Betty Jean Taylor, Fuzzy Ferrell (Yvonne) and Royce Bass (Sue). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
