She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Knight; her daughters, Florence Knight, Delores Knight, Shirley Knight and Christine Dickerson; and her siblings, Addie Winstead, James Lucas and Ella Bethea.

She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Lee Knight of Wilson, NC, Magdalene Knight of Wilson, NC, Charlene Knight Harris (Charles) of Wilson, NC, Lillian Fauntroy of Bowie, MD, Jocylen Patterson of Knightdale, NC and Eudale Knight of New Mexico; her great great grandchildren, Randy Knight (Kim) and Michael D. Knight; and her brother Herman of Lucas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
