She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Dawes Joyner and Della Mae Lindsey Joyner; her husband George "Pops" Eddie Gorham Taylor; and her siblings, Thelma, Senora, Ora, Odessa, Christine, Louise, Oliver (Cub), Carl Lee and Junior.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Wayne Taylor (Stacey) of Rocky Mount and Kimberly Taylor Brayboy (Alan) of Wilson; her grandchildren, Trey Taylor of Rock Mount, Sophia Taylor of Rock Mount, Caleb Brayboy of Wilson and Gavin Brayboy of Wilson; her siblings, Effie Cooley (Tom) of Rocky Mount and Milton Joyner of Rocky Mount; and her siblings-in-law, Peggy Taylor Everette (Will) of Spring Hope, Liz Taylor of Sharpsburg and Roger Taylor (Gaile) of Rocky Mount.
