She is survived by: her husband Phil Askew; her daughter Dr. Emily Askew (Scott Lovett) of Wilson; her grandchildren, Sam and Addison Lovett; her sister Diane Smith (Marvin) of Wilson; her nieces, Rhonda and Heather; her brother Jimmy Barnes; her cousin Kim Hartley (Herb); and also, Maggie and Elizabeth.
