She is survived by: her children, Gail Mitchell of Wilson, David Mitchell (Jackie) of Wilson and Tony Mitchell of Wilson; and her sister Early Mae Simmons of Lucama. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
