It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Lee Joyner (Wilson, North Carolina), who passed away on July 25, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luther Joyner and Lola Joyner; his wife Thelma Joyner; and his daughter Deborah Joyner Bailey.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in his memory to St. Mary's Free Will Baptist Church, 8456 St. Mary's Church Road, Lucama, NC 27851.
