She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph S. Brinson; and her siblings, Elvia Kennedy, Vera Futrell, Rannie Rouse, Lucinda Whaley, Mariah Quinn, Ruth Cummings, Sidney, Nathaniel and Floyd Kennedy.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Brinson (Gwen) of Wilson and Tim Brinson (Cindy) of Mint Hill; her grandchildren, Kristin Lippert (Eric) of Wilson, Josie Holland (Kelly) of Charlotte and Joseph Brinson (Sara) of Charlotte; her great grandchildren, Enz Lippert, Ruby Brinson, Derek and Tyler Holland; and her siblings, Janet Cox of Richlands and Ward Kennedy of Easley, SC..
