He is survived by: his wife Judy Earp Patterson; his children, Randy Patterson (Margaret), Claudette Collins (David), Patrick Patterson (Windi) and Todd Patterson; and his grandchildren, Julie Deyerle (Phillip), Lauren Collins, Tresson (Casey Patterson), Caleb (Carley Patterson) and Cater (Riley Patterson).
