She was predeceased by: her husband Divous Lee Locus; her children, Dennis Locus and Minnie Locus-Chatman; her parents, James Artis and Lenora Artis; her siblings, James, William, Roger, John Artis, Mary Lee Green, Minnie Artis and Flossie Pender; and her sons, Apostle Ricky Locus (Bessie) of Wilson, NC, Tony Locus (Ada) of Raleigh, NC and Elder Billie Locus (Mintecia) of Dallas, GA..
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Kent, Brenda Locus of Lucama, NC and Misty Locus of Wilson, NC; her son-in-law James Chatman; and her sisters-in-law, Queen Artis of Wilson, NC, Ella Artis, Linda Edmondson, Cynthia Jefferson and Connie Scott. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.
