She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery C. Long and Clyde Sherrod Long; her husband George T. Davis, Jr; her children, Brenda Truong and Ricky Davis; her siblings, Gertrude Cooper (McLean), Thula Winstead (Leon), Pershing (Thelma Hyde Long) and Charles (Doris Skinner Long); and her brother-in-law Horace Winstead.
She is survived by: her children, Lavonne Davis of Raleigh and Ray Davis of Wilson; her grandchildren, Laura Jones (Steve), Karyn Harwood (Cliff), Phillip Truong and Heather Truong; her great grandchildren, Steven Herron, Ericka Keel, Sydney Jones, Christopher, Chase, Cassitie Truong and Cole Evans; her great great grandchild Hazel Truong; and her sister Virginia L. Winstead of Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
