She was predeceased by: her husband John B. Clark; her son Wallace Clark; her parents, John E. Joyner and Allie Taylor Joyner of Nash County; and her siblings, Angelene Poland, Shelton and Norris Joyner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Dew (Kenneth) of Wilson, Elaine Griffin (Clifton) of Wilson and Sandra Carbaugh (James) of Wilson; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Clark, Christopher Clark (Jacquelynn), Ken Dew (Christa), Stacey Davis (Nicholas) and Shelby Hensley (George); her great grandchildren, Tyson, Jordan, Owain Clark, Kenley, Callum, Caroline Dew and Graham Davis; her brother Lotis Joyner (Dot) of Wilson; and her daughter-in-law Carol Clark of Hampstead.
