She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanita McLean and Boylston McLean; and her siblings, Ruby Bain, Betty Jo Bradshaw, Pat Floyd, Kathleen Sasser and Everette "Bubba" McLean.
She is survived by: her sons, Stewart Mitchell (Sharon) of Wilson, Mark Mitchell of Wilson and Scot Mitchell (Tracy) of Wilson; her great grandchildren, Sam of Wilson, Ace of Wilson and Penny Mitchell of Wilson; her sister Sue Newcomb (Henry) of Wilson; and her nieces, Jane Connor, Kitty Barnes, Sandra Newcomb and Stephanie Matas. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
