It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ann Horne Smith (Wilson, North Carolina), who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Lee Horne and Annie Pearl Cook Horne; her cousin Hadylene Coley Davis; and also George Davis. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Clark Smith; her children, Gordon Clark Smith, Jr. (Angela Bryant Smith) of Washington, DC, Courtney Smith Goodrich (Scott Thomas Gilliland) of West Chester and Paige Smith Harrington (David Lawson Harrington) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Gordon Clark Smith III, Hayleigh Catherine Goodrich, Peyton Ruth Smith, Lawson Reid Harrington and Blake MacKenzie Harrington; her siblings, Elmer Lee Horne Jr. of Holly Springs, Doris Pruitt of Raleigh and Hadie Horne of Wilson; and her siblings' children, Dave Davis of New Bern, Lisa Bayliss of New Bern, Michele Wilson of Fuquay Varina, Katherine Blanton of Fuquay Varina, Karyn Knoke of King George, Virginia and Jennifer Knight of Park City.
