She is survived by: her siblings, Robert, Heath, Louise, Vennie and Myrtle; her children, Nathaniel Gay, Jr. of Bath, NC, Brenda Gay Womble of Wilson, NC, Robert Bryan Gay of Wilson, NC and Lisa Gay Harris (Ben) of Albemarle, NC; her grandchildren, John Nathaniel Dean of Wilson, Natalie Jeanette Gay of Garner, Chelsea Lisa Harris of Locust, Brandon Bedford Harris of Wilmington and Adam Edward Harris of Albemarle; her great grandchildren, Samuel John Dean of Wilson, Sawyer Gray Dean of Wilson and Scarlett Elizabeth Dean of Wilson; and her sisters-in-law, David Smith of Monroe, NC and William H. Gay of Monroe, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
