He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Pearson Bryant; and his daughter Mary Lou Proctor. He is survived by: his children, Betty Bogue (Jesse) of Wilson, Gloria Poythress (David) of Wilson and Robert Bryant of Wilson; his son-in-law Bobby Proctor of Wilson; his grandsons, Shane Bogue and Pruitt Poythress; his great grandchildren, Natalie Capps, Landon Etheridge, Ethan Capps and Hudson Capps; and his sister Annie Lee Horne of Wilson.
