He is survived by: his wife Janette Irene Moser of Swannanoa; his children, Michael Shepard of San Ramon, CA, Thomas Shepard of Albuquerque, NM and Karen Pennington of Tampa, FL; his granddaughters, Isabelle and Claire; and his brother Richard Shepard.
