He was predeceased by: his wife Andra Cone Skinner; his son Royce Kelly Skinner; his parents, William Skinner and Polly Eatman Skinner; and his siblings, Thomas, James Skinner, Jean Skinner Bowers and Margaret Skinner Murray.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kristie Skinner Bass (Jeffrey Bissette) of Wilson and Anna Skinner Perry (Phil Keeter) of Middlesex; his grandsons, Alex Bass and Adam Bass; his brothers, Louis Skinner of Pikeville, Ronnie Skinner (Sherry) of Wilson, Joe Skinner (Iddy) of Delaware and Ray Skinner (Kaphie) of Wilson; and his sister-in-law Sara Brame Skinner of Arizona. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
