She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Dwight Russell, MD; and her parents, Mary Ruth and Carson Poole, Sr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Blythe Russell Bacon (John) and Meredith Leigh Russell Exum (Manning); her grandchildren, Blythe, Rose Bacon, Russell and Ruth Exum; her brother Carson Ray Poole, Jr. (Diane); and her nieces, Amanda Poole Albritton and Elizabeth Poole.
