He is survived by: his wife Betty Edmonds; his children, Kathy Kirby (Gary) of Graham, Teresa Durham (John) of Chapel Hill, Eddie Edmonds (Erlie) of Summerville, SC, Dale Edmonds (Kim) of Wilson and Peggy Mason (John) of Chapel Hill; his grandchildren, Stephanie W. Benfield, Scott Durham, Kimberly D. Walker, Clint Edmonds, Kristen E. Tharrington, Justin Edmonds, Davis Edmonds, Jonathan Edmonds and Kaitlin Edmonds; and his siblings, Mary Briles, Linda Taylor and John L. Edmonds of Florida. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
