It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Summerlin of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on November 20, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Summerlin and Daphne Owens Summerlin. He is survived by: his wife Janie Barnes Summerlin; his daughter Ashley Kight (Brian) of Sims; his grandchildren, Hailey and Holton Kight; his sister Pat Batts (Randy) of Wilson; and his nieces, Amanda Alford (Dustin) of Wilson and Emily Batts of Raleigh.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
