Susie Bass Barnes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2025, at the age of 91, Susie Bass Barnes of Wilson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vance Barnes, Jr.; her parents, Dorise Bass and Selma Bass; and her siblings, Pearl Saunders, Helen Edwards, Bill Bass, Derl Bass, Wilton Bass, Milton Bass and Clay Bass.
She is survived by: her daughters, Hope Smith (David) and Amy Karcher (Frank); and her brothers, Ronnie Bass (Peggy) and Roland Bass. She is also survived by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Susie was very involved with the Salvation Army, to honor Susie please make donations to your local Salvation Army, or a donation to Dementia Alliance of North Carolina, 9131 Anson Way, Suite 2065, Raleigh, North Carolina 27615 in lieu flowers.
