He is survived by: his wife Ella; his pet Abby Doodle; his children, Thomas James Evelyn Jr. of Asheville, NC and Bridget Janelle Evelyn Gilbert (John Gilbert) of Snellville, GA.; and his grandchildren, Mason and Madelyn Gilbert.
