He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Clark Skinner; and his parents, William Iverson and Mary James Skinner. He is survived by: his children, Mary Margaret Skinner Cederberg (Steven) of Rocky Mount and William Iverson "Bill" Skinner IV of Wilson; and his sister Mary Skinner Langley of Winterpark, Florida..
