He is survived by: his parent Marie Wright Burn; his children, Lisa Burns, Marie Carter, Eleanor Shaw, Setiamie Carter, Cheryl Pannell, Shanita Burns, Vernon Williams (Patricia) of Altamonte Springs, FL, Edward Meachem of Polkon, NC, Gregory Burns of Wilson, NC, James Meachen (Joan) and Jonzell W. Burns; and his brothers, Terry Barnes, James Barnes, Perry Barnes, Bobby Carter, Dot Carter, Bishop David Fuller and Cecil Battle. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
