It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Pitts Horton Jr. (Wilson, North Carolina), who passed away on January 12, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Horton of Wilson; his stepson Johnny Whitley of Wilson; his siblings, Elizabeth Thomas (James) of Wilson, Thomas Edgar "Eddie" Horton of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jonathan W. Horton (Ann) of Elm City; his niece Sonya Horton of Sims; and his nephew William Farrington Dunn (Lindsey) of Wilson. He is also survived by three great-nieces.
