He is survived by: his son Christopher Bryan Jones (Cherie) of Willow Spring; his stepgrandson Tyler Tackett of Garner; his sister Mary Jones Pope; his close friends, Trudy Lamm, Ken Ballance (Christy) and Brian Ballance (Renee); and also, Haley Ballance, Hayden Ballance, Kameron Ballance and Xavier Ballance.
