He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Smith (Andre) of Apex and Kathy Sears (Tony Mai) of Clayton; his siblings, Richard Johnson, Cheryl Allen and Connie Strickland; his grandchildren, Dominique Smith, Christina Smith, Daylin Sears, Ashton Sears and Caleb Mai; and his great grandchild Jayce Smith.
