She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Fishel Walser and Fred James Walser Sr.; her husband Ronald Shackelford; and her friends, Margaret Reid and Betty Jo Sluder.
She is survived by: her son Douglas Shackelford (Julia) of Graham, NC; her brother Fred J. Walser Jr. (Linda); and her brother-in-law Jerry Shackelford (Carol) of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by nephews and their wives.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Salem Moravian Graveyard Cemetery.
