He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Clarence Price and Ada Belle Price; his wife Evelyn; and his siblings, J. C. Price and Marguerite Beattie.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Price (Marne') of Franklin, TN and Leigh Anne Regnery (David) of Winston-Salem; his grandchildren, Kathryn Price, Christopher Price (Anna), Elisabeth Jeffries (Ross) and Michael Regnery; his great grandchild Lily Price; and his siblings, Dora Seay, Newell Price, Lewis Price and Libby Purcell. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

“Marshall was my teacher/coach in elementary school in the 1950s. He also was my Sunday School teacher at the First Baptist Church. Marshall had a major impact on my life more than he and I realized at the time. His calm & non-threating manner guiding a young boy who seemed to be ready to get in trouble, was not forgotten as I became an adult. Marshall, truly a good man, had a way about him that you trusted when he gave you advice to become a better person & privilege to know! Al DeForest”
