She is survived by: her parents, David Bethea, Jr. and Clara Marie Simmons; her children, Rashawn Bethea and Tamara Fair; her siblings, Victoria Simmons, Deborah Bethea, Sabrina McCoy (Charles), David Bethea, III (Bridget), Daniel Bethea and Kelvin Gwyn (Linda); and her friend Franklin Black. She is also survived by uncle, aunt, nieces, nephews and close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hooper Funeral Home (1415 14th St NE, Winston-Salem, NC 27105).
