She was predeceased by: her father Tanimowo Nicol; her sister Davida Nicol; and her foster sister Princess Thompson. She is survived by: her mother Arminda Areyomi Nicol; her daughter Sybil Ayodele Jackson; her granddaughter Olivia Jackson; her siblings, Jonathan Nicol (Janie), Mionette Coker, Newtona Turner (Dennis) and Hazel James (Sahr); and her foster sister Nellie Olive. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A vigil service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Silas Creek Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (3315 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27103). Viewing will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Timothy's Episcopal Church (2575 Parkway Dr, Winston-Salem, NC 27103). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
