He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hollyn Gray Reid and Jacqueline Everhart Reid; his wife Rhonda Smith Reid of Lexington; his son Adam Daniel Reid of Lexington; his brother David Reid (Amy) of Winston-Salem; and his pet Ollie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to The American Cancer Society.
