It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Hotvedt of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Hotvedt and Ragna Hotvedt (Grandahl); and his siblings, Olaf, Oscar, Gertrude and Martha.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Hotvedt (Becht); his children, David Hotvedt (Valerie) and Elise Gmuca (Ed); his grandchildren, Marc Gmuca, Erica Hotvedt, Sam Gmuca (Katy) and Ryan Mason (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Elijah, Micah and Bella; and his brothers, Paul Hotvedt and Robert Hotvedt (Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
