She was predeceased by: her mother Cora Sutton Hemphill; her siblings, Leroy Ben Sutton and Hattie Sutton Bowman; her spouse Thomas Wiley Leake; and her daughter Carolyn Elizabeth Leake.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Wiley Leake, Jr., Tyrone Leake, Paulette Leake and Charlene Leake Gaddy; and her daughters-in-law, Carolyn McQueen Leake and Patricia Leake. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
