She was predeceased by: her parents, Burgess M. Wright and Bessie Reynolds Wright; her former husband Hoyt Whitney; her husband David West; her siblings, William R. Wright, Woodrow Wright and Elizabeth Artis Weber; and her grandson Rives Crump.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Whitney Marcus (David) and Susan Crump; her grandchildren, Dr. Elizabeth Long (Mark) and David Marcus, Jr. (Lee); her great grandchildren, Crosby Long of David Marcus, III and Sofia Crump; and her siblings, Doris W. Noell and Bynum Wright.
