We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2025, at the age of 84, Grover Franklin Shugart Jr. (Winston Salem, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Huff Shugart and Grover Franklin Shugart, Sr.; and his sister Sharon Cloud. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his sister Diane; his children, Dee Dee and Brian (Susan); his grandchildren, Ashley (Adrian), Andrew (Merrideth), Amanda, Austin, Emma and Brian Jr.; and his great grandchild Arthur.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Winston-Salem First Pentecostal Holiness Church (998 Hutton St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Forsyth Memorial Park (3771 Yadkinville Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Winston-Salem First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 998 Hutton St. Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
