We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2021, at the age of 92, James Robert Scales (Winston Salem, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Booker W. Scales, Sr. and Kate Reich. He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Scales Kearns (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Melissa Lampley (Bryan) and Robert D. Kearns (Tina); his great grandchildren, Shelbi, Izzy, Brett and Kane; and his half-sister Sheila Scales Martin.
