He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Ray Spoon and Jacquelyn Crowder Spoon; his grandparents, John Wesley, Opal Hayworth Spoon and Loretta Cox Crowder; and his brother-in-law Michael Ray Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, Renee Deaton (Shannon) of Monroe, John Spoon of High Point and Lori Isley (Richard) of Thomasville; his nieces, Amber, Kayleigh Deaton and Gracey Isley; his nephew Ethan Isley; and his pet Roxy.
