We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2020, at the age of 83, James Wesley Shaw Sr. of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Wesley Shaw Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse James Shaw Sr. and Lovie McClintock Shaw. He is survived by : his wife Clementine Battle Shaw; his children, James Shaw, Jr. (Sheila), Angela Anderson (Edward), Herlane Edwards (Tyrone) and Bo Gilliam (Marilyn); his godson Aldeen Smith (Paulette) of Winston Salem, NC; his siblings, Doris Lee Shaw Glenn of Winston Salem, NC and George Shaw (Ann) of Detroit, MI; his aunt Beatrice Shaw Suber of Greer, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Claude Battle of Whitaker, NC and Linda Battle of Whitaker, NC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
It will be open to the public providing there are no Covid restrictions that would bar such an event.
