It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jermaine Lamont May Jr. of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Maggie Jackson; his great-aunt Cynthia Clement; and his grandparents, Alma May and James Galloway. He is survived by: his parents, Michelle C. Moses and Jermaine May, Sr.; his grandparents, Lillian Moses and Micheal Jackson (Dorsel); his siblings, Tra'Miyah Taylor, Alshaundra "Shauny" Rolle, Ja'Marii Brown and Corey Hill, Jr.; his cousins, Felicia Akande and Chanetta McRae; his godson Andres Smith Jr.; his pet Polo; his aunts and uncles, Kenya Leach (James), Monica May, Tammy Galloway, Michael and Corey Moses; and also, Khyisha Trott and Tanganika Williams. He is also survived by other siblings, very close friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church (4129 Northampton Dr, Winston-Salem, NC 27105). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
