He was predeceased by: his parents, James Green and Daisy Green; his wife Pansy Hutchins Green; and his siblings, Nina Thomason, Ruth Kuypers and James Green.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Davis of Winston-Salem, Johnny R. Green of Rutherfordton and Ricky E. Green (Amy) of Chesapeake, VA; his grandchildren, Meghan Green, Jarred Green and Abigail Burdick; and his siblings, Ann Fearrington and Roger Green (Peggy).
