He is survived by: his wife Josephine Brown Howell; his daughters, Sharon Logan and Norma Logan of Lenoir, NC; and his aunts, Gertrude C. Parson of Boomer, NC and Florence F. Carlton of North Wilkesboro, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
