He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Lee and Woodfin Carlisle Neely; and his brother Robert Carlisle Neely. He is survived by: his close friends, Executive Control Systems and Hanes Corp; his wife Joyce Riddle; his daughters, Helen Neely Pruden (Matthew) and Rachel Joyce Neely Johnson (Mark); and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Berkley Neely, Barbara Riddle Brewton (Ernie Freda), Brad L. Riddle (Maureen) and G. H. Riddle, Jr..
