It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathryn Stout of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Hot Springs, Virginia, who passed away on July 2, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Ward and Etta Ward; her husband Fredrick Stout; and her granddaughter Nicholle Surratt. She is survived by : her daughters, Susan Stout Phend of Winston-Salem, Patricia Kathryn Fife of Cape Coral, FL, Victoria Stout Moran (Richard) of Boonville and Nancy Ruth Stout of Lewes, DE; her grandchildren, Philip Surratt (Shannon), David Fife (Randi), Steve Fife (Whitney), Richard Moran, Jr. (Rhonda), Paul Moran (Whitney), Robert Bagley and Scarlett Stout; and her brother Tommy Ward of California. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
