She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Houston Foster and Nonnie Lillian Medlin Foster; her husband Hugh Lindsay Barnes, Sr. of Taylorsville, NC.; and her siblings, Roy Foster, Calvin Foster, Victoria Wilson and Treva Watson.
She is survived by: her sons, Hugh Lindsay Barnes, Jr. (Judy) of Winston-Salem, NC and Bert Calvin Barnes; her grandchildren, Amanda Barnes Crews (Matthew) of Winston-Salem, NC and Hugh Lindsay Barnes, III of Huntersville, NC; and her great grandchild William Thomas Crews. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (3250 High Point Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107).
